Uncle Bill’s commonly carries two species of Arid Geckos: Leopard Geckos and Panther Geckos. These small and low-maintenance Lizards are perfect pets for people new to reptile care, and with proper care, they can live up to 20 years. You can learn more about Gecko care, habitat, and dietary requirements on our Gecko pet page.
Axolotls are a species of Salamander that in the wild, are found only in one lake in Mexico, and their population has been declining due to pollution and invasive species. Thankfully, ethical breeders have prevented the extinction of the Axolotl. These adorable amphibians have a face that makes them look as if they’re smiling, and they are fascinating animals to watch. Learn more about these unusual pets on our Axolotl page.
Bearded Dragons – or “Beardies” – are known for being sociable and curious, and they may come to form strong bonds with their caretakers; however, they must be handled carefully and calmly, so they are not always the best pets for children. These reptiles have specific requirements for warmth, humidity, light, and diet, and Uncle Bill’s has all the supplies you need to provide a great home for your Bearded Dragon.
Unlike Beardies, most Chameleons don’t like to be held, but for experienced reptile caretakers, Chameleons can be wonderful pets. These colorful animals require a specialized habitat that suits their arboreal (tree-dwelling) lifestyle, along with warmth, humidity, and a diverse diet. Uncle Bill’s carries Veiled Chameleons and Jackson Chameleons (the species with three facial horns). Learn more about Chameleon care here.
Chinese Water Dragons are another species of arboreal reptile, and these animals may be more likely than Chameleons to tolerate handling if their caretakers are gentle. Uncle Bill's has Chinese Water Dragons for Sale, along with the reptile food, enclosures, lighting, and accessories you need for your pet’s habitat. Read more about Chinese Water Dragons here.
Green Iguanas tend to adjust well to their new homes and be genuinely interested in human interaction, if they get plenty of positive attention and proper care. Green Iguanas need large enclosures – they can grow to be 6 feet long and live 15 years or longer. For dedicated caretakers that have space for a large reptile, Iguanas can be great pets. Read more about them here.
Active and agile Long-Tailed Lizards and Anoles are smaller than many other Lizard species, but they need a generously sized tank so they can exercise. If you’re interested in buying a Long-Tailed Lizard or Anole, the Uncle Bill’s team can help you choose an appropriate tank, as well as the items you’ll need to provide a healthy habitat for your pet.
Are you a seasoned reptile enthusiast who wants a challenging yet rewarding experience? If so, a Monitor Lizard or Tegu may be right for you. Uncle Bill’s has Nile Monitors and Savannah Monitors for sale, as well as Tegus. Read more about these intelligent and fascinating animals here.
Tropical Geckos are available in various sizes, with unique colors and patterns. These animals prefer a tropical environment – very warm and humid – and 10 to 12 hours a day of fluorescent light. Please see our Tropical Geckos page if you’d like more information on caring for these animals.
The Uromastyx (pronounced “euro-MASS-sticks”) is a lizard that, depending on the species, can be between 10 inches and 3 feet long when fully grown. These animals are ideal for experienced reptile keepers who have previously created and maintained habitats for their pets.
