Our friendly and knowledgeable staff can help you choose a pet that’s right for you, and we’ve got the food and supplies you need to keep your pet happy and healthy.

More Than Puppies and Kittens

Uncle Bill’s is known for its adorable puppies and kittens, but we also have a wide range of other animals, including birds, fish, reptiles and amphibians, small mammals, and exotic pets. Our available pets may vary depending on location (we have three pet stores in Indianapolis, and one in Fishers, Zionsville, Greenwood, and Fort Wayne).

Pet Food and Supplies

At Uncle Bill’s, you can find quality food and treats for any pet, from hundreds of manufacturers, including Blue Buffalo, Oxbow, Fromm, Victor, and SunSeed. We sell animal bedding and substrate, litter, cages, toys, grooming tools, leashes, and more. Best of all, we offer online ordering – just place your order, and pick it up in-store or select local delivery!

Animal Care Advice

Our goal is to help our customers find a pet that suits their lifestyle, whether that’s recommending a specific dog breed, or explaining how to set up a habitat for Sugar Gliders.

Some pets require special accessories or accommodations – a Bearded Dragon, for example, needs branches to climb and a heat lamp or heat rock. When you purchase your pet at Uncle Bill’s, we’ll make sure you’ve got the information you need to decide which pet is best for you.

Our Commitment to Ethical Sourcing

At Uncle Bill’s, we care about animal health. That’s why we are highly selective in choosing breeders – we visit our breeders frequently, to ensure puppies are healthy and happy, with plenty of room to relax and play. Many of the breeders we work with are Indiana-based, family-owned businesses, just as we are. We know these breeders, and their dogs, well – when you buy a puppy from us, you won’t have to make guesses about your dog’s ancestry or wonder about its temperament.

We work mainly with USDA-licensed dog breeders and also partner with the Canine Care Certified (CCC) program through the College of Veterinary Medicine at Purdue University. CCC is a nationwide, voluntary program that addresses the health and overall welfare of dogs in the care of U.S. breeders. 

Uncle Bill’s also sells cats and other animals that have been surrendered or abandoned, giving them a second chance at a happy life. Our staff veterinarian ensures all of our animals are healthy and up-to-date on vaccinations before they find their new home.
